There are some things that can be checked in order to confirm if the inconveniences with the quality of the calls can be by any chance be caused because of the connection.
Having good internet does not necessarily mean the connection will be perfect.
We offer customers a guide and some advice to optimize this.
Run the test on your device and send us the results so we can optimize our servers. To which agents/customers are being connected.
2. Run this test and send us the URL for the results.
This will give us a better idea of the real connection customers have from their internet provider.
3. For Mac. Go to spotlight search by pressing command + space key.
Search for Terminal.Open it and enter the following commands.
netstat -nr | grep default
After pressing this command. You will get the results with an IP.
Please copy the ID with the default Destination for the Gateway.
Then enter the following command with the IP number you got.
When using Windows. You need to enter the following commands.
After you receive the IP. Enter the following command.
ping IP from default gateway -t
Let it run for a couple of minutes and then they can send you the results.
This will give us an idea to know how good the connection from the customer is. In order to give them better advice on how to use Toky and the optimizations, we can work on from our end.
